Vikki Power
Vikki played collegiate volleyball at Hastings college and has been coaching for 18 years. Four of which have been with Juniors. Her favorite volleyball memory is watching BYU and Hawaii competed to qualify for the National Tournament! She loves coaching for Juniors because she feels she gets to know each girl on her team really well. She loves watching them get better and grow!
Vikki is a huge Atlanta Braves fan and loves reading, piano and spending time with family. If she were stranded on an island she would bring her resourceful husband, a bible and her pillow. Her fun fact is that she is a triplet.

Lindsay Burkey
Lindsay played collegiate volleyball at Wesleyan from 2000-2004. She has been coaching for 20 years and is returning as a coach for Juniors! She says she enjoys coaching with fellow Juniors coach Jake Moore, but also really loves the values that Juniors has and the quality that we put into our training. She also really loves how Juniors promotes multisport athletes to continue competing in multiple sports.
If she were stranded on an island she would bring Diet Mtn Dew, a computer and a volleyball.

Dean Farley
Dean has been coaching for 32 years and has been with Juniors for 12 years. His favorite memory has been attending multiple Husker National Championship matches. He enjoys coaching for Juniors because of the great atmosphere and structure that they use to coach kids.
In his free time he enjoys exploring the outdoors. And if he were stranded on an island he would bring his wife, daughter and son. A fun fact is that he has 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

Hanna Justesen
Hanna played collegiate volleyball at George Washington University and Augustana University during 2015-2019. Hannah has been coaching for 3 years, but this will be her first year here at Juniors! She is a Juniors Alum! Her favorite volleyball memory was making the National Tournament in college. She is excited to coach for Juniors because she wants to give back to the community that played a huge role in her development growing up.
Her favorite athlete of all time is Jordan Larson. Her favorite things to do include spending time with her family and friends. If she were stranded on an island she would bring water, a first aid kit and food. A fun fact is that she has had 5 orthopedic surgeries in her life.

Brian Magbitang
Brian played volleyball at Taft High School in Woodland Hills, California. Brian has been coaching volleyball for 16 years, 3 of which have been with Juniors. Brian’s favorite volleyball memory includes when the Huskers competed in the National Championship last year. When asked what he loves so much about coaching for Juniors he said “I love coaching at Juniors because I get the freedom to train volleyball. The other coaches in the club are amazing to work with. I also love the kids that come into the club and are committed to learn and train hard”.
His favorite athlete of all time has always been Kobe Bryant. His favorite things to do outside of coaching include traveling with his family and playing golf. If he were stranded on an island he would bring a knife, a pot to boil water, plastic tarp to catch rain water and provide shelter. Bryan also is a veteran and served our country in the Armed Forces.

Jake Moore
Jake has coached 4 years at Fairmont (1986-86 – 1988-89), 27 years at Pius X (Varsity – 1990-91 – 2014-15; JV – 2020-21 – 2021-22) and finished my first year at Marian (2022-23). I have been with Nebraska Juniors since the Spring of 1990. He has too many favorite volleyball memories to count but something special is that he has had the opportunity to coach a former athlete’s daughter! He loves the fact that the coaches all work together for the benefit of the athletes and the program. Also, as a high school coach, he loves the fact that we encourage and work with multi-sport athletes…makes them a better athlete and us a better club program!
His favorite things to do outside of coaching include traveling, reading, watching high school & college sports, being with friends and family as much as possible. If he were stranded on an island he would bring a good book, Diet Mtn Dew and Scotcharoos. He also loves New York City!

Ashley Pietenpol
Ashley played volleyball at Lincoln North Star. She has be coaching at Lincoln High for 3 seasons and this is her first season coaching with Juniors! Her favorite volleyball memory was making it to state her senior year of high school. She loves to coach for Juniors because “there is a great collection of coaches that are there to help girls reach their fullest potential and I wanted to be a part of that!”
Her favorite things to do outside of volleyball include exercising, crocheting and watching Netflix. If she were stranded on an island she would bring Diet Dr. Pepper, a blanket and radio. A fun fact is that she has been a lifeguard for 8 years.

Anna Wagner
Anna played high school volleyball at Lincoln Christian from 2016-2019 and is a Nebraska Juniors Alum! Her favorite volleyball memory was from the District Finals her senior year of high school. This is her first year of coaching and she is excited to help cultivate the love of volleyball in our program with each kid!
Her favorite athlete was and still is Simone Biles. She loves to bike, try new foods, watch movies and cook! If she were stranded on an island she would bring her glasses, a blanket and a knife. A fun fact is that she was adopted.

Katy Bartell
Katy played volleyball at Mid Plains Community College from 2020-2022. Katy has been coaching for 1 year and doing private lessons for 2. Her favorite memory is going to Nationals her freshman year of college. Her favorite part about coaching for Juniors is the fact that she gets to stay involved in the volleyball community and help it grow with great coaches!
Her favorite athlete growing up was Kelsey Robinson and these days it is Lauren Stivrins. In her free time she loves to play cornhole with friends and play with her puppy. If she were stranded on an island she would bring a tent, her puppy and some coffee. She is also top 100 in her conference in cornhole.

Payton Ruhl
Payton played collegiate volleyball at Wayne State from 2015-2017. In highschool she played for Lincoln Norris and won back to back state championships. She has been coaching for Juniors for 3 years. Her favorite thing about coaching for juniors is the collaboration and experiences that the coaches bring to the table. “They represent a program who values hard work, dedication and commitment!”
Her favorite athlete growing up and now is Jordan Larson. In her free time she watches her brother’s baseball games, watches tv, and travels with friends. If she were stranded on an island and could only bring 3 things they would be water, a knife and matches. She has run 2 half marathons and plans to run more!
